Amal graduated from The New England School of Acupuncture where she studied (TCM) Traditional Chinese Medicine and Acupuncture. She is nationally board certified by the NCCAOM, and is licensed to practice acupuncture by the Massachusetts State Board of Medicine. She also has a Bachelors of Arts degree in Behavioral Science from Lesley University.
Amal brings a very unique approach to acupuncture through her skills as a highly dedicated and gifted healer. Amal treats a variety of health conditions and utilizes acupuncture and adjunctive modalities such as gwa-sha, tunia (Chinese massage), cupping, moxa and Acutonics (tuning forks) to achieve optimal treatment results.
Amal’s special interest and focus is woman’s health, infertility, and has achieved a high success rate with IVF. She is also very excited to offer her specialized training in Facial Rejuvenation Acupuncture (also known as acupuncture face-lift).
As a practitioner, Amal offers a very comprehensive evaluation and treatment plan. She is very caring and highly attentive to the individual needs of her patients, and especially for those who are extremely acupuncture sensitive and needle phobic.
