Doctor of Chiropractic
Dr. Wassim Khoury received his Bachelor’s of Science degree in Bio-Chemistry from Bridgewater State College and his Doctorate from Palmer College of Chiropractic in 1995. He continued his studies post-graduate in enzyme nutrition and bio-mechanics. While at Palmer, Dr. Khoury was very involved with the sports injury club and later became the president until graduation. The Khoury Centre for Health and Wellnesss was founded in 1996 by Drs. Wassim and Dawn Khoury. The Khoury Centre focuses on treating the body as a whole through chiropractic care, nutritional counseling and education. The centre expanded in 2004 and is now in two locations, Dedham and Bellingham Massachusetts
Dr. Khoury believes that stress (or interference on the body) is the root of all dis-ease and can be caused by a variety of factors including toxins, structural issues, negative emotions, allergies, and poor nutrition. Dr. Khoury incorporates a variety of complementary and alternative therapies into his treatments for best results. Dr. Khoury continues to pursue his education to understand more about the human body in order to help others get back on the road to optimal health.
Dr. Khoury is a member of the International Chiropractic Association, The World Chiropractic Alliance and The Massachusetts Chiropractic Society and former President of the Dedham Rotary Club.
Dr. Dawn Khoury grew up in New York and held aspirations of becoming an elementary, special-ed teacher. Having been under chiropractic care most of her life, and believing in a holistic health care model, she changed her major to pre-med and set her sites on chiropractic school. Upon her graduation from Palmer College of Chiropractic in 1994, she immediately enrolled in a 1000 hour post-doctoral diplomate program in chiropractic pediatrics. She is now one of only 200 pediatric chiropractors in the country. In her 10 years of practice she has successfully integrated her love of children and her love of chiropractic. Dr. Dawn has committed her life to helping sick children find health through chiropractic care, nutrition and education as well as avoiding drugs and surgery. She still enjoys working with "special" children and she still educates each day both in her practice and through community lectures. In addition to being a chiropractor Dr. Dawn is a full-time mother of three and volunteers her time in the PTO.
